RABBIDS LICENSE

WHEN FACING RAYMAN WAS NOT ENOUGH, they took over the world

They are noisy, quite stupid, they break everything, they can make a suction cup appear from nowhere, but they are also very cute: you guessed it, it’s the Rabbids, one of Ubisoft’s flagship brands … and of the Paris studio as well!

Created with Ubisoft Montpellier, they are an important part of our history. You may have known them in Rayman Raving Rabbids, in which they faced Rayman in many trials, each more insane than the last. The game allowed players to take advantage of Wii’s innovative motion detection. You may have known them in the sequel, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, in 2008, which extended the possibilities by offering even more wacky events.

But the Raving Rabbids phenomenon does not end there: from being Rayman enemies, they have become the protagonists of their own games. At Ubisoft Paris, we worked on Raving Rabbids: Travel in Time and Rabbids Land: we gave them a helping hand to spread and invite each other on all consoles and around the world. They have even become the stars of their own animated series, are in an amusement park at the Futuroscope or at the Grévin Museum!

Last step of this success story: the encounter with the universe of Mario for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, a game developed hand in hand with Ubisoft Milan and for which we had the honor and the pleasure of working with Nintendo.

The Rabbids is about all of that and even more. They can be found everywhere in the studio: on a background screen, around the corner of a corridor, sitting on a bench or even in the hall. We’d give them the last word, but we’re sure it would sound a bit like “Bwaaah! “.
