THE BIGGEST VIDEO GAMES STUDIO IN FRANCE

In 1992, the Guillemot brothers opened their first video games studio: Ubisoft Paris.

With nearly 30 years of experience and 700 people working in artistic, creative or technical fields, our studio is today the biggest in France. Together, we have the same goal: to create unforgettable games for our players.

Under the direction of Marie-Sophie de Waubert, we work on many emblematic Ubisoft brands such as Just Dance, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, Mario + Rabbid Kingdom Battle, Watch Dogs ou Beyond Good and Evil 2.

AT THE FOREFRONT OF TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION

With nearly 30 years of service, our Studio is one of the most experienced in the industry. Young talent rub shoulders with experts, all driven by the same passion. Together, they develop exceptional worlds and universes, and explore new technologies in fields as diverse as worldbuilding, Machine Learning, and User Experience.

Innovation is core to our strategy, where we explore the extent of programming languages, push the boundaries of Game Design and work on making procedural tools. Thanks to the Level up initiative, the Studio allows several people to dedicate time and budget to research in all these areas.

At the same time, we are forming partnerships with Station F or the Polytechnique School, among others, with whom we have created a “Science and Video Game” Chair. What’s the objective? Collaborate with the school’s researchers and explore new aspects of video gaming and strengthen the bond between science and video games.
