JEAN-FRANÇOIS CAPIZZI BECOMES THE NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR OF UBISOFT PARIS STUDIO
Today, Ubisoft announced the appointment of Jean-François Capizzi as Managing Director of Ubisoft Paris, one of the biggest game development studios in Europe and the biggest in France*.
Jean-François Capizzi was previously Executive Producer on the brand Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon at Ubisoft. With almost 20 years of experience in video games, including 13 in the group, he has developed a deep understanding of the industry, its different actors, and a solid experience within the production teams. He notably spent 9 years on the titles Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint as a Producer then Senior Producer, allowing him to acquire a global vision of all the professions and processes involved in creating video games.
Established in 1992, Ubisoft Paris is the company’s pioneer in-house studio. Over the years, it has grown to become the largest game studio in France with almost 1 000 team members. The studio’s portfolio extends across some of Ubisoft’s most well-known brands such as Just Dance, The Rabbids, Rayman, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon.
